How to Survive NICU
Faith, Mama of twins born at 30 weeks, tells us about her experience in the NICU and how she managed to get through the 60 days with her top 10 tips. Mama Genie has Exciting News
It's confirmed! I'm so excited to announce that we will be donating a gift box, for every 10 sold, to both the Royal Women's Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospitals in Melbourne, to support families with premmies in the Neonatal Intensive and Special Care Units. The wonderful teams there looked after my small growth restricted 35 weeker and twin 32 weekers and were just so kind, thoughtful and amazing. I'm so honoured to be able to give back to these hospitals and work with them to help families through the premmie journey.

It's a continuing labour of love and here we are. I am so happy to be sharing Mama Genie with you. Supporting families through the journey of having a premmie has been my passion and goal since the idea popped in my head, after my own experiences. I have so many people to thank for getting to this point, yet I know there is further to go. From initially coming up with an idea to seeing it come to fruition, wondering where I’d find the hours in the day with my 3 beautiful children, going back to work, being pregnant...

So, I've been thinking about how we can get these gift boxes 'out there' to people who really need them. We want to reach as many families going through the NICU journey as possible. So, for every 10 gift boxes we sell, we will donate a gift box to a family going through the journey, to try and make their lives just a little easier. My NICU journey was all consuming both physically and mentally and that, for me, meant that I didn't want to leave my babies' cot sides for long.
