In Australia, almost 48,000 babies are admitted to neonatal intensive care units or special care nurseries every year and premature birth is Australia’s number one killer of newborns. The services Life’s Little Treasures Foundation offers are free of charge and include comprehensive information folders and booklets, in hospital support and a 24 hour support line.

The Miracle Babies Foundation is is Australia’s leading organisation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them. Since 2005, Miracle Babies Foundation has been passionate in developing and providing vital programs and resources to support and enhance a family’s experience from a threatened pregnancy, hospital journey with a premature or sick newborn, the transition to home and beyond.

Australian Multiple Birth Association (AMBA)

Formed as a volunteer organisation in 1974, AMBA is Australia's leading charity, in Australia, focused on improving the lives of families with twins, triplets or more. Find your local club for connecting with others who may have travelled the premmie journey, with multiples, too.

Raising Children Net 

A great online resource with articles, videos and visuals to help you at all stages of your childs' development. Resources for preparation and dealing with premature birth are provided as well as coping in the NICU.  There are also resources for post natal depression.
